STROBON v2 Cree Edition - Navigation Strobe Lights

  • £9.99
    Unit price per
Tax included.

This product is compatible with the latest FAA and CAA anti-collision light regulations for drones. It is visible from at least 3 miles at night.

STROBON Lights have been among the most powerful navigation lights in the model market for years. This Cree Edition version features increased brightness, a durable polycarbonate dome, and wired connection.

⚡ Flash Patterns

Configurable for 5 different flash patterns:

  1. Strobe: Classic Strobon v1 effect — 3 rapid flashes mimicking xenon wing-tip strobes.
  2. Blink: Simulates belly or tail lights with continuous ON/OFF flashing.
  3. Heartbeat: A gradual ramp-up and down cycle, like a beacon pulse.
  4. Rotating Beacon: Simulates rotary light movement — ramp up, flash, ramp down.
  5. Static: Constant light, ideal for landing or wing-tip marker lights.

🛠️ Operating Modes

  • RC Controlled Mode: Connect to any channel of your RC receiver. You can switch the light ON/OFF via the selected channel. Multiple Strobons can be connected to the same channel and will operate synchronously.
  • Standalone Mode: Power directly from a 3.5–6V battery for continuous operation without RC input.

🎨 Colour Selection

Different LED colours vary in visibility, efficiency, and application:

WHITE: Highest visibility and efficiency.
YELLOW: Similar to white but with better performance in misty conditions.
RED: Second-best visibility. Excellent for warning signals; equal efficiency to white.
GREEN: Third in visibility. Standard for port/starboard (left/right) navigation use.
BLUE: Lowest visibility and efficiency. Best for specialist applications, not recommended for navigation or warnings.
IR 850nm Visible through night vision goggles and IR-enabled cameras.
IR 940nm Only visible via night vision equipment. Invisible to the naked eye.

Bottom line: White and Red are best for high-visibility strobes. Green helps identify aircraft orientation. Blue should only be used for specific purposes.
